Lucky work payed for the room because if I had payed I would ask for a refund. Might as well be sleeping on the side of the road on brand hwy, the noise of the trucks will keep you up all night. The room was filthy, from the lounge to the bathrooms and kitchen . Looks like nothing has been done since it was build in the 80s. Had cockroaches run along the kitchen bench.The aircon was mouldy and leaking water on my head, the bed linen stunk and the bathrooms…Let’s not go there. Don’t let the photos fool you.I would advise whipping down everything before using!Did a traineeship, qube really scrapped the bottom of the barrel with this one!

Not usually one for caravan parks but given it is the only option in Monkey Mia we had to choose RAC. We asked for a more ‘private’ camping spot (which I know is a difficult ask in a caravan park) and they popped us in the only couple of palm trees which was nice. The facilities were very clean and functional. The staff were happy and accomodating. A+ location. Would stay here again happily!

Great location! Nice neat looking complex with beautiful restaurant and pool area. The self contained units were clean with your own private bbq area which was handy. They just need to tone down the passive aggressive messages stuck on the walls that give it a cheap feel when you are paying so much to stay there (like “please leave your kitchen clean and tidy or you’ll be fined $25” or “dont set the a/c too low or it will freeze”). This is not necessary and detracts from the overall feel of the place.

So picture this…You’re driving through the Kari forest to get to your own private little cottage completely secluded and nestled amongst a tropical jungle paradise.You jump out the car and notice the peaceful sounds of birds and wind flowing through the trees … nothing else.It’s freezing as you go to get the bags out of the car, but you notice smoke coming out of your chimney that has been lovingly pre lit by the hosts.You find your little pathway leading you through tropical ferns that take you to your own porch that is fully equipped with a bbq, wood, couches, table and chairs and a lovely personalised welcome letter attached to the door.You turn the handle and immediately feel the warmth coming through and the warm scents of sandalwood incense that is burning.The dim lighting makes it feel as if you’ve taken a step back in time and you instantly feel you can relax mentally and physically.You’re scanning the cottage and notice immediately the gorgeous clean sauna for some light skin therapy and toxin release.Then the beautiful open king sized bedroom with chest drawers, rails and bedside tables to really make you feel at home as you unpack.The kitchenette also fully equipped with loads of thoughtful complementaries.You’re looking around wondering where the rest is …and then you find the door handle camouflaged in the antique accents of the cottage. You slide the heavy door to find another slice of heaven with a section dedicated to a massive standing bath laced with ancient bath salts and organic ammenities to provide a private spa therapy experience..directly opposite is the beautiful bathroom with an open shower fitted with a waterfall head.And then, just when you think that’s incredible enough, the best part..Another huge heavy door holds the windows which give you a peak of the paradise that awaits outside.You eagerly slide it open and are taken to Bali.Ferns over hanging the private deck that leads you to your eden of ultimate restoration.A pre heated jet loaded spa awaits you as you witness the steam rising into the crisp air. A convenient shower nearby with cold and hot settings for all seasons.Sheltered by a wooden hut you are surrounded by nothing but the sounds of nature…

This place is as close to heaven as you can get. Just beautiful. B12, B13 for couples have amazing views. Rooms are divine and beautifully maintained along with the grounds. B1B2 when we are with our family just as lovely Ajar restaurant at your door Fri-Sun We just keep coming back.Lovely hosts, lovely place.

Nice and clean. There was no clothes washing powder so we had to source our own. The Telstra mobile reception was good, but Vodafone was patchy. No supplied WiFi unfortunately. None the less the place was exactly what we needed and was comfortable.

Rooms are ok. The housekeeping only starts after 3pm. It's the best place to stay location wise if you want to visit the dolphins. Plus, you will never get bored seeing the resident emus am going about the resort.

Nice clean Villa cosy , a jetty-walking distance. 1 car bay and no WiFi . I use the Vodafone network and heaps of dead spots/no signal in the Villas. Overall ok experience.

Booked a dorm-room for myself and a group of friends to have a nice night's rest before continuing north. Fairly priced and the view from the beach was great, saw dolphins right by the shore at sunset after sitting there maybe 5 minutes. The receptionist was very helpful and informative.The dorm-room does not include a bathroom, there were communal bathrooms available on each floor down the hall. Hot water wasn't the best but we weren't too fussed. I imagine it'd be fine in a room with an attached bathroom.
